Route Delivery Driver / Support

Route Delivery Driver Support and Relief position is open at Blue Ribbon Linen Supply Inc. in Lewiston, Idaho. This person will learn all routes to assist the other drivers when needed and will cover routes when needed. Customer service, sales and delivery experience preferred but not required. Opportunity to make commission on placement of new products and sales. Entry level position with the opportunity to progress.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday.

Work Times: varies depending on route needs. Typically works 6 am to 3 pm

Pay: From $20.00 per hour starting, and possible commission pay in addition to hourly pay if earned through sales and service.

Job Description

Builds solid, positive relationships with customers and coworkers.

Delivery driver. Manages daily route independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods and services.

Promotes new goods and services within customer accounts. Actively makes sales.

Verifies daily preventative maintenance of vehicle and maintains proper operator documentation.

Safely drives and operates company vehicles

Reviews customer invoices daily for complete and accurate information, and makes corrections as needed.

Loads/unloads product per company policies, procedures and guidelines.

Possess a strong understanding of service, policies, and pricing methods; and can clearly communicate those to customers.

Monitors customer feedback and handles customer issues in a prompt and courteous manner.

Strives to generate goodwill and loyalty for the organization while performing work in a professional manner at all times.

Promotes overall route revenue growth to enhance profitability.

Attends company trainings and meetings as requested

Takes responsibility for personal safety and watches out for the safety of others. Uses safety precautions, proper tools, and equipment and adheres to all safe work practices and policies.

Requirements

  • Motivated to excel in position.
  • Customer service and delivery experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good Math skills
  • Must possess a valid US driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 50+ lbs. and load/unload products from truck without assistance.

Must be able to occasionally lift and maneuver 75+ lbs.

Must be willing to submit to a drug test and background check.

Customer Relations Supervisor

Blue Ribbon Linen Supply Inc. is a family-owned commercial linen company that supplies customers with uniforms, commercial textile rentals, dry cleaning services, janitorial supplies, since 1982. Blue Ribbon Linen is currently searching for a qualified candidate to fill the open position of Customer Relations Supervisor in their Lewiston, Idaho corporate.

Job Details:

  • Maintaining an organized work environment in a busy office
  • Handling route paperwork and money collections (deposits) for multiple locations and route representatives
  • Manage multiple phone lines
  • Provide administrative clerical support
  • Invoice billing & Service order writing
  • Audit paperwork/ accounts, service orders and billing from route personnel
  • Accounts receivables research
  • Daily account balancing
  • Provide customers with accurate info regarding billing, charges, etc
  • High in-bound call volume covering range of customer inquiries

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Supervisor/ Management Experience (preferred)
  • Customer Service & Phone Skills
  • Ability to multitask with strong time management
  • Detail oriented with attention to accuracy
  • Ability to work longer evenings if necessary

Physical Demands:

Fast paced office environment that requires the ability to prioritize work as the situations demands. Communicating on the phone with internal and external customers daily. Some lifting, reaching, twisting, getting up and down from computer to use other equipment required. Ability to type, read small print, read computer screens, and climbing stairs on a daily basis.
