Admin HR Assistant

The Safety Coordinator is a full-time position. The selected candidate will perform administrative tasks and services to support the effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource and safety department.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Safety

  • Responsible for coordinating the company’s efforts to provide and maintain a safe workplace environment as defined by the OSHA regulations and standards
  • Maintains files and documentation related to security operations including companywide MSDS records
  • Collaborates with management to develop, prepare, and implement safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct monthly safety meetings with the company’s safety team.
  • Responsible for all required safety documentation
  • Maintain truck maintenance schedule
  • Ensure DOT regulations and documentation are met
  • Works closely with multiple departments

Human Resource

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Conducts or assists with new hire orientations.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Provides clerical support to the HR and finance department.
  • May assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing checks.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to self-motivate, self-start, and hold oneself accountable without intense supervision
  • Some experience in human resources, DOT, and familiarity with OSHA regulations will be preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for work to visit multiple locations

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Withstand periods of walking and standing for 1-2 hour stretches around a production plant
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Will be required to travel to multiple company locations around the State of Idaho and Washington
  • May be required to get a COVID vaccination

Purchasing & Accounts Payable Assistant

The Purchasing and Accounts Payable Assistant is a full-time position. The selected candidate will perform administrative tasks and services to support the effective and efficient operations of the company.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Purchasing --

  • Responsible for ordering all inventory and supplies as needed for the company to run as efficiently and effectively as possible; this includes special requests from managers and ownership
  • Responsible for maintaining an accurate and current pricing list for use in the sales and marketing department, as well as for the route coordinators to use when needed for customers
  • Responsible for maintaining all inventory and pricing in Alliant software for
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory counts and PAR levels
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory PAR levels, ensuring that the company does not run out of product
  • Responsible for researching for the best and most competitive pricing in all areas of company purchasing
  • Responsible for updating and upkeep of the chemical manifest
  • Responsible for supervising the inventory specialist and the shipping and receiving clerks. Responsible for ensuring accurate inventory counts are being kept and that the inventory is being organized and stored appropriately.
  • Responsible for creating PO’s in Sage and placing orders
  • Responsible for receiving inventory into Sage
  • Acts as first level of review for invoices, after inventory/supplies are received will staple PO backup to invoices if applicable, and gives invoices to upper management for approval and payment.
  • Responsible for maintaining a current and accurate SKU list in Alliant
  • Responsible for providing reports to management as requested

Accounts Payable --

  • Responsible for entering invoices accurately into Sage, which includes using the correct G/L coding
  • Responsible for maintaining Blue Ribbons credit quality
  • Responsible for maintaining accounts payable files
  • Responsible for filing invoices
  • Responsible for preparing all payments in the form of checks for delivery & mailing
  • Responsible for getting all invoices intended for credit card payments to the FA Manager for processing after entering them into Sage.
  • Reviews monthly statements and researching past due invoices. Resolves all billing issues.
  • Responsible for resolving any issues with vendors
  • Annually requests W9’s from vendors and updates their tax information in Sage.
  • Responsible for setting up new vendors in Sage, ensuring that information is accurate and correct.
  • Provides company BRLS W9 to outside vendors when requested
  • Provides reports to management as requested
  • Answers phone calls about accounts payable issues & questions from outside vendors, resolves problems or passes on issues to management for resolution

Maintenance Technician

Come join our maintenance team and enjoy working in a fast pace setting where every day is different! You will have the opportunity to install, diagnose and repair equipment such as industrial washers and dryers, boilers, compressors, conveyors, and so much more. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing inspections and preventative maintenance as well as maintaining appropriate records and reports.

Job Duties Include but are not limited to:

  • Installs new equipment
  • Trouble shooting mechanical and electrical issues
  • Ensures machinery and equipment are operating safely and efficiently
  • Follows written and verbal instruction and performs other tasks as directed by supervisor
  • Responds to alarms, breakdowns, and production needs as they arise
  • Initiates preventative maintenance and safety by having knowledge of standard operating procedures
  • Ability work occasional overtime and different shifts

Experience

  • 1 to 3 years maintenance experience, industrial and mechanical equipment experience preferred
  • Proficient with the use of power tools
  • Experience reading electrical schematic diagram
  • Experience with boilers is beneficial, but not required

Driver Support Representative

With a position as Driver Support, you will have an established delivery and service route with an opportunity to grow. Customer service, sales and delivery experience preferred but not required.

Essential Job Functions

  • Verify daily preventative maintenance of vehicle and main proper operator documentation.
  • Safely drive and operate a company vehicle in a designated area to provide products and service to a variety of customers.
  • Review invoices daily for complete and accurate information and make corrections as needed.
  • Manage inventories in accounts.
  • Loads/unloads product per company policies, procedures and guidelines, assuring your safety at all times.
  • Take responsibility for your personal safety and watch out for the safety of others. Use safe precautions, proper tools, equipment and adhere to all safe work practices and policies.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record, with additional incentives for CDL drivers!
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccine

Qualifications

  • Must be able to routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 50 lbs and load/unload product from truck without assistance.

Custodian

Responsible for the cleanliness of equipment and facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cleaning, sterilizing wash floor, production floor, and tie out. Including but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, buffing, waxing, vacuuming, and spot cleaning.
  • Responsible for meeting hygienically clean hospital standards.
  • Empty all trash cans, break down all boxes.
  • Dust all equipment, desktops, countertops, shelving, and door frames.

Dry Cleaning Route Driver

As a Dry Cleaning Route Driver, you will have an established delivery and service route with an opportunity to grow. Customer service, sales and delivery experience preferred but not required. 

Starting Wage $14.00 hourly

Route Service Representative

Become an RSR (Route Service Rep) for Blue Ribbon Linen Supply. You will have an established delivery and service route with an opportunity to grow. Customer service, sales, and delivery experience preferred but not required. Minimum 40K a year plus commission on new sales and route growth.

 

The role of the Route Service Representative

. Build solid, positive relationships with customers.

. Manage daily routes independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of commercial textile rental goods and services.

  • To grow new products and services within your established route and new businesses within your service area.
  • Verify daily preventative maintenance of vehicle and main proper operator documentation.
  • Safely drive and operate a company vehicle in a designated area to provide products and services to a variety of customers.
  • Review invoices daily for complete and accurate information and makes corrections as needed.
  • Loads/unloads product per company policies, procedures, and guidelines, assuring your safety at all times.
  • Possess a strong understanding of services, policies, and pricing methods and can clearly communicate these to customers.
  • Monitor customer feedback and handle customer issues in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Strive to generate goodwill and loyalty for the organization while performing your work in a professional manner at all times.
  • Promote overall route growth to enhance profitability.
  • Attend appropriate technical and manufacturing training.
